Tabo located on the road that connects RekongPeo to Kaza in Himachal Pradesh is an extremely picturesque hill station called Tabo. It is elevated at an altitude of 10,760 feet above sea level. Furthermore, this hill station also possesses the renowned “Tabo Monastery”. Apparently, the Dalai Lama has apparently confessed to intending to live his retired life at this monastery, since he considers it to be one of the “holiest” Buddhist shrines.
