Rudraprayag is a small settlement on the way from Haridwar and Rishikesh to Kedarnath and Badrinath , 140 km east of Rishikesh. The Rudraprayag is a holy confluence for the Hindus by the Alakananda (one of the most important tributaries of the Ganges) and the Mandakini.
