Patnitop (Patnitop, 2024 m ) is a small mountain, popular with Indian tourists. The mountain is located on the slopes of the Pir Panjal ridge covered with Himalayan cedars between Jammu (120 km) and Srinagar (180 km). Patnitop is a good place for paragliding . The take-off site is located in Davariyari , 2 km from Patnitop. Flight authorization can be obtained from the Patnitop Development Authority (PDA). The flight can last from 15 minutes to an hour with landing in the town of Kood . For lovers of hiking (trekking) there is a day route to the sacred place of Shiva Garh(Shiva Garh) at an altitude of 3500 m (11 km one way) or to the village Nathatop (14 km). You can simply walk around the deodar forests, enjoy the views of the mountains and breathe the mountain air. Paths and paths lead to the neighboring villages of Kud and Batote .
