The state capital of Orissa is famous for its numerous and unique temples, the main of which is considered to be the grandiose Lingaraj, dedicated to Shiva and Vishnu at once, which is rare for India. Lingaradzh is closed to foreigners, but from the observation deck you can look through the surrounding wall and evaluate the architectural complex.
