One of the most visited destinations in the Shekhawati region, Mandawa entered the scene in the 18th century. It has an impressive fort, Castle Mandawa which today serves as a historic hotel. Other attractions in the city include the havelis of Chokhanias, Goenkas Nevatia and Ladia and Saraf. Parasrampura - The small village preserves some of the oldest and most beautiful paintings in the Shekhawati region. The paintings on the inside of the dome of the cenotaph Thakur Shardul Singh, Shamji Saraf Haveli and Gopinathji Mandir deserve to be appreciated.
