Andaman Islands - an archipelago in the Indian Ocean between India and Myanmar. It is part of the Indian allied territory of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands and consists of approximately 550 islands. The total area of the islands is 6,408 kmĀ², and their population is more than 300,000 people. In the underwater world of the islands nature has invested all the creative power, giving rise to a huge species diversity. In a great mess here are crowded bushes and trees of various shapes and "calibers," sponges and corals of unthinkable colors and shades. In the coral "paradise" live or swim in it, attracted by an abundance of food, sharks, moray eels and barracudas.
